Umesh Khaitan’s newly rebranded firm Khaitan & Khaitan has moved away from its top focus – the project finance practice, to focus on corporate governance, private equity and venture capital and environment law. It has also moved to a much bigger office.

Khaitan Sud & Partners (KSP) is on the verge of a break-up with managing partner Umesh Khaitan, and his son and equity partner Ashutosh Khaitan having now rebranded to operate as Khaitan & Khaitan, according to authoritative sources.

Khaitan Sud & Partners (KSP) has dissolved its motor accident claims (MACT) vertical with insurance litigation partner Ashutosh Singh and his team of three lawyers, who were handling it, leaving the firm.
