SCBA elated as ITPO takes pity, provides 300 parking spaces to Supreme Court lawyers

The India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) has provided Supreme Court lawyers nearly 300 parking spaces across the road from the court complex to allay advocates’ parking troubles, after solicitor general Ranjit Kumar put the court-requested proposal to the Urban Development Ministry.

Justice V Gopala Gowda then dismissed a public interest litigation (PIL) from 2000 that in-part prayed for additional parking and a multi-level automatic car park for Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) members. SCBA president Dushyant Dave expressed gratitude” toward the bench, reported PTI.

With all respects, where are "ordinary citizens" aka tax-payers aka litigants aka Indians eligible to park their cars when and if they need to visit the Supreme Court of India, please? It would have been very kind of the SCBA to please make some provision for this, too, especially for elderly and disabled people who may not be members of the SCBA. Thank you and humbly submitted with ultimate respect.
