Stop cribbing over spilt milk. You can always do well irrespective of your college provided you are sincere and take the right decisions.
@srini:so you think that it’s not good enough?
Well, it would be foolish to say that RMLNLU stands taller that NLU-Jodhpur at this point in time. But as you said it has a promising future and that future is people like you who would make this college what it will be 5 years down the line. In terms of facility you will get everything that you would have got at Jodhpur and it depends completely on you as to how use them.

.
I never denigrated RMLNLU in my previous post. It is a very good University and has a bright future ahead. It is an excellent platform hence, I only advised you to do your best. My comment was in regard to your sorrow over marking RMLNLU ahead of NLU-J.
Thanks people for the encouragement.I’ll try my best to bring out the best in me.
Thanks again
ur just over optimistic!RNMLU Over NLU??
CRAZY!!FOOOL!BIGGEST FOOL IN LAW CIRCUIT!
@rmlnlu senior: dude,do you even realise that RMLNLU is ALSO a nlu? that was a very dumb comment…& if u mean nlu-j then better specify the same…ofcourse i know that RML doesn’t stand before nlu-j…& read the comments above i’ve never said so…
and whats wrong in being optimistic its for my own good that i am doing so…& as you don’t know me, better don’t get judgemental…u act as if u personally know everyone in the so-called law circuit…ha!!
Okei dude!
Letse u say this after a year in this college! all the best!
There are approx 2000 law schools in INDIA.Out of these 2000,RMLNLU, ranked the 8th best law University cannot be undermined in any sense whatsoever. Infact, any NLU for that matter are is a stage where the performance depends solely on the performer. Its like saying, Al Pachino acts well only in Hollywood and not anywhere else. These days, the world(especially ,our Indian Law Circuit) is teeming with self proclaimed intellectual “Gurus”. These gurus should be knowing that in UPSC, the maximum number of qualifiers are from Bihar closey follwed by UP. So dont go by the fad n these bullshit opinions. If one is prudent enough, he will understand that if an institution has been made a ‘NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY’, its because they have something in them that the rest 2000 odd dont have. Government of India, the respective State Govts and the LAW MINISTRTY havnt for nothing invested such huge amounts in these prestigious institutions. A winner doesnt need to prove his mettle…its there for the world to see. I exhort u to GO AHEAD. Carpe Diem.
@ASH23: well said…& ofcourse thanks a lot for booming my confidence!
student aspiring for RMLNLU
Guess ur in no mood to know the reality.Come n join the college.U will get a taste of it n realise that the picture is not always that what u believe or want to c.
There are ppl in the college who will lie , show u facts n figures to make u believe tht college is gud.Their attitude is since sumting so bad has happened to THEM let it happen to other also. But dont go by them.sincere advice: Go to NLU!
Or u will regret.
First things first, if u have given RMLNLU as ur first choice or a choice above NLU-J and if u are getting it, I doubt u can now change it to NLU-J or GNLU for that matter. and if u can then..
The thing is NLU-J is definitely better than RMLNLU at present stage, I have no doubts in RMLNLU’s prospects but just decide whether to choose a place which has proved its excellence over years or to choose a place which has yet to do so (Not denying the possibility that it can do good in future).
And if in case u cannot change ur preferences now y are u sopiling ur mood now just join the college, make it ur own and perform. Else u will keep this thing in ur mind and will never be able to attach to the place, which is very necessary in my opinion to excel in law field.
@ anonymous, You totally sound like me, I made the same mistake, n I’ve ended up in RML too. Sounds stupid, but it’s great to know that there are others like me. :-) I’m done with all the crying n anger, RML isn’t THAT bad. It’s new, it’s promising n by the time we graduate it has good chances of catching up with Jodhpur. You’ve got to be from U.P. if u made the blunder of choosing RML over NLU n if you’ve seen the campus you’ll know its it’s impressive. So cheer up!
It has the nlu tag attached to it.moreover ,it is doing well in moots and the students are active.
But at the end of the day it is the students who push the institute up.
I met a student in lucknow(have traveled almost all of india giving exams last month)who was totally obsessed with RMLNLU and had almost listed 1000 pros of the college.
It is indeed a good college.
Go for it!
Dear I am a student at Dr. RMLNLU,there is no future in RMLNLU. I tell you - here in every 15 days clashes go on, and police comes, … no placement could be secured by the university till now for the 1st passing batch- unless you have good links with teachers you can succeed in moot intra, everything is done on political consideration everything … even marks are given as per your relations with teachers … there is no future in RMLNLU and even RGNLU would be a much better option from RMLNLU … don’t go on sayings … I am a student here that’s why I know these things … never opt for it … never … otherwise you are ruined …
Well clearly whoever this is needs to understand one thing that any such blasphemy about the college is not going to help your cause, the college provides you with everything possible, its up to you what you make of it. The most any college can do for you is give you good faculty, decent infrastructure and rest is what you make of it. If you choose to see things in such light then more than a college changeover what you need is a attitude makeover. Stop seeing things so myopically. Such disgruntled statements are never going to serve any purpose aside from ruining the growing reputation of your college.
@Mr. knjwfnnfenfevfnlv- dont blame the college for ur own incompetence…its a great college,,,yeas definetly there are shortcomings and it we are still working out a few kinks in the system but the same can be said for any college thats barely 5 years old…we do not have a name in the industry yet because we dont have alumni…thats not the colleges fault..yes with regret i will have to concede that compared to the glitz and glamour of nlud maybe we pale in comparison..but however i would really like to point out that that dusnt demean us as a college in any way…please work harder Mr. knjwfnnfenfevfnlv because i doubt if u can get anywhere without working even in nlsiu…stop blaming others for ur own incompetence
@ Abhinandan,
To make a statement on one’s competence you need to know that person first of all, hence don’t make such statements … secondly if you wanna criticize someone .. do it in polite manner, better if you critisize the comment rather than the person who made the comment … thirdly what I have said is not the reflection of my destiny, but of the university, which is unfortunately very true … Fourthly when it comes to grow up one can even do in a simple law college, although the path will go tough. And, as a question of fact the path in RML is quite toucher in comparision to other NLU’s …
@Saura
I won’t be benefited by my comment in any way, but there are issues which proves my comment true, and I don’t hate my University, I love it, I just love it … which I dislike are unfair things … anyway it was to save the future of someone and not to ruin the repo of our university.
knfkfdllkfkf
I agree with Abhinandan on this whether one knows you or not is not of any significance stop glorifying your ignorance of a good law school by making such unwarranted remarks
Besides it is a reflection of your competence or xyz’s competence if one sounds as vicious as you do towards your own college.
P.S Life is unfair; boohoo deal with it. You’re in college now about damn time you stopped complaining like a 5 year old on “unfair things” deal with it,change it or accept it, just stop cribbing about it
NLS, Delhi has glitz and glamour?
Trust me this is the law school which has made the best and the only effort to copy NLSIU with the ‘famous’ NLS. Grow up. And, Do not copy NLS; you’re over with aping exercises by doing it in your name.
Mr. knjwfnnfenfevfnlv…wateva ur interpretation is…keep it to urself u loser!!..u r definitely a misfit..coll pasand nhi h to go to ur home…agar tera naam pata chal gaya na beta..teri m** ch*d dunga..yad rakhiyo..!!
tera baap
is at any point sensible to go for RMLNLU leaving the rest of national law schools??
do you rewalise what you speak for RMLNLU?afterall it’s also an NLU.UNLIKE TRHE OTHER 2000 ODDS?
@Nikunj: that’s a very vague question obviously it’ll be a stupid decision to leave NLS Bang or NALSAR, NUJS to come to RML, but amongst the others, if you choose to come down here, its not a bad choice provided you put to use all the resources this place has to offer to you. It has one of the best infrastructure and a decent faculty, to what extent you exploit it is to your merit.
Compared to other institutes of its league RML has performed Brilliantly..be it moots or other competitions. There is no denial to the fact that there would always exist few black sheep in a flock..but would you generalize the whole flock because of few black sheep. Let wisdom Prevail and that can only be done if you open your eyes and observe carefully and listen to ALL. Do not make a single disguised opinion as your only source of knowledge about the institute.
Whichever college you are from. My friend you gained yourself a lot of respect with you sensible comment. Good to see people like you around in LI.
Thank you for those words. Similar advice was rendered to me when i joined this varsity from which Mr.Kjwnhgkj hail. And personally i feel that i made a right Decision. so its pretty evident that the difference lies only in perception. Wish you all the Best for CLAT.
RMLNLU is not like other NLU’s its even better, the best infra structure by miles…, and some of the most talented students in the country, If these two factors don’t make it the best I don’t know what will.
Students from first batch got placed in reputed organizations like Amarchand Mangaldas, Price waterhouse & coopers, Karanjawala, HDFC, ICICI & other law firms & companies with packages ranging from 11 to 3.6 lac. Surely its a budding university but has shown a lot of Promise.
how much should be th clat score in order 2 get into rmnlu
hahahaaaa this was a good time pass !!!
RmlNlu has really good infrastructure and has had decent placements. Now it depends upon each person on how he performs here. U find both brillant and useless students here. RmlNlu has been doing very well in various PDs and moot competitons for a six years old university and is bound to do well in the coming future. So, unless you are getting NLS, NALSAR, NUJS or NLUJ you should come to Rml because by the time ur 5 years will be over, it will become a fantastic law college.
And if you are a guy who excels in sports you should really come here as u have plenty of free time with very few restrictions…
I would like to know the truth about RMLNU,
I know that GNLU n NLU-J stands above RMLNLU.
But I wanted to know is it true what a gentleman was saying about RMLNLU
that there is no scope, no good faculty and lot of political interference n
those with influential status get favours from teachers and management of RMLNLU.
Please tell me the truth as I still got time and can take a right decision now.
Here is some actual help to your problem.
You still have a shot at GNLU AND NLUJ
Go to GNLU website; it has a feature to register for vacant seats.
NLUJ will also give an announcement for vacant seats.
Once the CLAT admission process is over; you can apply separately to the colleges with vacant seats where only merit is looked at, and not preference.
The above information is 100% accurate.
You’re welcome.
See, its a persons perspective at the end of the day. i have been in this college for a while now. I would be wrong if i make a sweeping statement that the administration is fantastic. It is not, however there are no such issues which we as students should be concerned with. Rather, this is probably the only university where you can barge into the VC’s chamber three times a day and talk to him unlike other universities where you get an appointment for 4 days or more. As far as people getting favors is concerned i dont think there is anyone who benefited in this college just because he has a rich/ influential dad. Now, coming to politics- you have student politics in every college. However, this doesn’t effect you in any way as far as your academics and co curricular activities go. Now you mess with someone in college then things get ugly for u and this is a general truth not limited to this college. So yes, the college is good and its surely getting better every year.
Thanx
Even I sincerely believe that its a person’s own potential and hard work which makes difference.
Children from low profile or even state govt schools making it large is not new to us.
So, I believe that WE can be the no. 1 and so can our college.
But I still wana know about the ragging activities in RMLNLU.
has anti ragging committee successful been successful in eradicating such activities?
