Is sharing books is a legal act ?. I mean, I have a book that I finished reading, I exchange it for another book with a person. Is this legally allowed ?

It is your book. Legally, you are the full owner thereof. You can lend it, burn it, kick it or even read it. It is your right.
In the case of a digital book, it may not be possible for you to transfer it to another device if the contract conditions do not allow it. But if you are the legal owner with full ownership rights then you can ceratinly lend it.

Forgot to add in the previous one. The owner can sell or exchange the book, too.
