It gives us great pleasure in informing you that the Gujarat National Law University (www.gnlu.ac.in), India, a premier national law university, is establishing GNLU Centre for Public International Law. To mark the inauguration of the Centre and to enhance awareness and promote studies, research and training of international law among young generation, GNLU is organising a national conference on “International Courts and Tribunals: Indian/Asian Perspective”, on Sunday, 3 October 2010 at GNLU, Gandhinagar.

The conference will be attended by law students from all over India, from premier national law universities of India. GNLU hopes that the discussion on various courts and tribunals functioning in different areas of international law will enable the young scholars/students to understand the role of these courts and tribunals in shaping international law. To encourage the participation, all speaker young students/scholars will be given full scholarship including travel, boarding and lodging.
