National Level Panel Discussion on Gandhian Thoughts at RGNUL, Patiala

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala is organising its first National Level Panel Discussion on the topic- “Relevance of Gandhian Thought: Rethinking and Redefining”. The conference is scheduled to be held on 9th October, 2010 at the University Campus in Patiala.

The discussion promises to be an innovative and socially important initiative to promote an interactive and vibrant discussion among the youths and experts about the relevance of Gandhian Thought in the present times. The dicussion assumes more significance in the light of the fact that we live in a country which is among the youngest in the world. This discussion also aims to address the apprehensions among the youth regarding the adoption of Gandhian Ideologies.

Mrs. Shveta Dhaliwal, Lecturer in Political Science at the University who has taken a lead role in organising the discussion has stated that she has received a great response from experts from around the country and many have already confirmed their presence. She also expects active participation from the students and the youth to make it a greater success.
