Anyone know any family / mediation lawyers?

“I am a 2nd year law student of the BA.LLB (Hons.) course at NUJS, Kolkata. I intend to do my internship under a lawyer specializing in family law/mediation.

Could you please suggest some names?”

I received this message a few weeks ago without a reply address.

Unfortunately I personally don’t know any family lawyers.

Can any of you help? I assume that most large law firms don’t have family departments, is that right?

Well even I am looking for such lawyers

Mr. Firdosh Karachiwala in Mumbai and Mr. Niranjan Bhatt in Ahemdabad are the leading authorities in mediation. Mr. Sriram Panchu in Chennai too is a renowned personality.

I’d suggest that you work with Ms Pinky Anand. She has a long and successful track record as a family lawyer in Delhi. I trained under her myself when I was a student at NUJS.

Mr. Kishore Gajaria is a reputed lawyer at Delhi High Court, infact he has briefs before most the courts in Northern India.
