i dont know anything and our college doesnt seem to help either. i want to get into corporate law and am clueless about wat to do??

Well, it would help if u disclose the name of your Law School as then maybe we could help you through contacts. Without disclosing where u are from it would be difficult for anyone to guide u through internships, activities etc.

Well, on an honest note and this is just not to motivate u it really doesn’t matter where you are from. Being in a not-so-well recognized law school is more motivation to do well. You got to fight to be the best and that brings out the best in you, something you can do better than people at say NLSUI. So use it to your advantage. I understand that the management and staff may not be motivating or driven towards student excellence but they will surely be ready to help in case u go forward to them. Also, initiate a good Mooting Society, Debating Union, MUN Society, et al. Be the change and you will see the college mould with u. It’s a new Law School and it has its own difficulties and student participation will make things easier for them.

Another important thing is to get recognition for your Law School externally. You really dont need to learn how to Moot. Its all there. Research and orate and think on your feet. You don’t need a coach or faculty to prepare you for it.

Take help from people in NALSAR. They are close by. Even Osmania. I could help connect you to people in these Universities and they could guide you better in Andhra towards Internship oppurtunities.

And finally motivate your batch, your peers to work for your Law School because once the recognition kicks in your Law School will immediately take measures to provide you with better facilities.
