Blogs/ Resources on LPOs
12 Feb 2010, 19:09
Hi, I am looking to do some research on the LPO industry and would appreciate if people can share links to blogs on the subject, reports (value notes etc ) and websites, which they consider helpful.
I understand that KPO consultants is organising a conference in LPO strategies on 20th feb- any idea whether it is worth attending ?
If anyone can advise how are these LPO’s to work for -
Quislex
CPA Global
Pangea3
Mindcrest
Bodhi Global
Thanks!

KPO Consultants are full of hot air - eminently avoidable and certainly not worth the 8,000 odd that they are charging. Except for CPA Global which does IP related work, the LPOs you mentioned are document factories doing volume driven, intellectually bankrupt work.
Thanks for the advice, Anon.
I look forward to receiving more feedback on resources for research on the LPO industry.
Hi TriniTy,
If you are little more specific, I may be able to help.
Hi Legal Dodo,
Thanks. I’d appreciate if you could provide information relating to the following topics:
- setting up an LPO in India
- areas of practice that are being outsourced and the %&age of the market captured
- charge out rates (that LPO charge their clients)
- salary levels in LPOs
- IT infrastructure and security requirements
- client markets for LPOs and data on the type of work and revenue from different jurisdictions
- processes and systems in an LPO
- the names of LPOs in India and the kind of work they do (many claim on their website that they do almost every kind of work, but where can I get accurate information from?)
I hope that gives you a better idea.
Hello!! These are heavy duty questions. From my experience,
you are probably working for a market research consultancy
which has been engaged by an investor/big law firm/MNC
exploring the LPO industry in India.
I can talk to you on most of the issues, but not on a public
platform. Is there an e-mail id/ phone number that you can
share?
