Out of the 2 cllgs…NLIU is definitely a superior one to NLUJ on many accounts…although NLUJ is making fast progress…in terms of faculty n student quality NLIU has a better stand n most importantly NLIU has one of the strongest alumuni bases among all the NLUs which matters a lot…
also the faculty standard at NLIU is much better wid newer reputed faculty members being brought in…
moreover NLIU has been hosting n doin exceptionaly well in national n international moots , ADRCS n other competitions over the years
n lastly on account of PLACEMENTS also NLIU scores well over NLUJ in terms of average salary of the placed students n the percentage getting placed…
SO WITHOUT DOUBT NLIU is the better of the two…

NLUJ placed 24 students just within the top-tier and magic circle firms (i.e. not counting LKS, NDA, ELP, etc.); only 30 people sat for recruitment at NLIU on the other hand, and who did better is plain to see.
as for mooting, NLUJ is currently ranked 2 on MPL 3 while NLIU is ranked 8 - http://www.legallyindia.com/wiki/Mooting\_Premier\_League\_3\_season\_standings
in last year’s MPL 2, NLUJ was ranked 5 and NLIU was ranked 9 - http://www.legallyindia.com/wiki/MPL\_2\_season\_standings
faculty quality is variable, but many law subjects are taught by really good professors. faculty quality is very dependent on the administration of the college at that time, and at this time we are doing decently well in this regard. maybe NLIU has better faculty right now. i have no idea.
but if RV thinks NLIU has better moot results and placements… bro, i want some of whatever you’re smoking :)
even i would say NLUJ is much better than NLIU in every respect.
you will get better placement, mooting experience and a friendly environment in NLUJ. In NLIU you will have to face a drastic scene of Ragging which is worst thing about NLIU…
