We have an ancestral property. My grand parents are no more and they have 7 children (5 son and 2 daughters). eldest son is my father. 15 years back, we had a loan problem and my parents were in need of money to pay back the loan. So they insisted for selling the property of my grandfather but my uncles did not accept for it. Hence my father let one house (out of the 5 houses in total) to my youngest uncle to repay the loan. My uncle got the documents signed from our family but it is not registered till now. My uncle also paid only half of the loan agreed as the money lender was his friend. All these 15 years this property is not sold and my other 4 uncles are enjoying the rent for the last 15 years.

Till now I have not claimed for the share of my father nor the rent. I feel 15 years is too long for anyone to bear this and this has to come to an end. I need to know if I will be eligible to claim for the share of my fathers property… The value of my father’s property will be approximate 15 lakhs.
