evict a tenant
my father is 68years was a pvt employee, his expenses are met through rent.
the tenant is improper with other tenants sometime with my father as well.
he pays his rent although on time.
time and again my father requestd to vacate that portion of building.
he just ignores, as my father is too old to handle it outright…
my father gave notice on 30th march 2012 yet he is not evicting our house.
he is a miscreant to the neighbourhood and towards other tenants of our house.
Please guide.
my father do not want legal action though, as he fear long way of procedure also resulting in that portion locked-up by the court until the case is solved.
please guide is his fears true.
i believe in our system…but if the case is delayed my father have to go without money.
he have no other source ..we are all daughters.
nobody’s there who can speak for my father.

Well, legal advice will go in one way that is constitutional. First give one more notice terminating the tenancy. File a suit, conclusion of the suit may take time, but surely tenant has to handover the vacant premises to you, if you are the real owner..
