Legal career options

I have a B.tech degree. And I have 5 yrs IT experience in project delivery.I want to shift to the legal side,kind of a domain expert within the software sector or any corporate. Which of these below courses will help me switch to the legal side.? And how are these courses valued by corporates.?

1. Masters of Business Law - NLS, Bangalore

2. PGD in Cyber law - Nalsar, Hyderabad

If you want to shift to the legal side, it would be best for you to get a LLB degree through a part time/evening course. The courses mentioned by you are only diploma courses and they only supplement the LLB degree. I doubt if either of these courses would have much value in terms of getting a job without an LLB attached to them.

Another good course which you can consider doing is the Diploma in Entrepreneurship Administration and Business Laws offered by NUJS. They say that their target students are engineering students with an interest in management/legal consulting among others.
