Oxford Media Law Moot Court Competition - NLU D - Organizers - Disqualified

I have heard rumors that NLU-D, the organizers for the Oxford Media Law Moot Court Competition, 2013 have been disqualified from the Competition. The reason that i have heard is that as organizers the participating team from NLU-D was provided access to the memorials of other teams.
I clarify once again that this is just a rumor that i came accross and would like Legally India to get some information on the same.

I have heard similar rumors - however, the memos provided were last years’. Also, the team was disqualified as soon as the Organizing Committee got a hint of the allegation. Kudos to the college for upholding the spirit of fair competition.
Our MCS (NLSIU) got an anonymous mail stating the same. I never thought someone would ever do this. And shame on the students of NLU-D.
The fact that the team was disqualified just two hours prior to the start of the rounds indicates that some incriminating information must have come to Oxford’s knowledge. No prizes for guessing how NLUD won the national rounds and then went on to win the international rounds as well, last year.
I’ve been on their campus for the past two days and what I’ve managed to assimilate is that the OC disqualified the team within 12 hours of acquiring evidence of this year’s team acquiring last year’s memorials. As far as I can tell Oxford wasn’t involved in this except for being notified of the findings of the inquiry held and the decision taken.
That is bullshit. How will NLU Delhi rig the world rounds? What is the advantage they would have over other teams at Oxford?
