Whether it is ancestral property ?

AnonymousLLB 19 Dec 2013, 04:30

My grandfather has got 5 sons and he bought the property on thier names it was undivided. My dad was studying at that point in time.

In the year 2010 my dad was forced to sell the property which was pledged.I was not aware of this and I was in a foriegn land

Couple of lawyers whom we discussed specified its ancestral property and i have the rights on the property because my father did not purchase the property The recommended file a partition suit in civil court with stay application and restrain them

Questions

1) Does the above case falls under ancestor property

2) Do i have any rights on the sale

Please advise me
