Hi friends I’m from Pune. I am right now in final year of my engineering in computer science at Govt. College of Engineering Pune (coep). I am looking forward to Law degree (LLB 3 years). Can I apply to GLC mumbai this year ? Does anybody have idea about what would be the cut off for student coming to law school from engineering background ? I heard it was 84% for commerce student last year.

Such degrees will not equip you to face the rigors a good law practice entail. You will be another drop in the vast ocean of mostly average Indian lawyers.
If you think you can become a good lawyer and you possess the skills required to become one and if you are passionate and hard working, a good law degree from a good law school can open avenues in legal field for an engineer for you.
The best 3-year LLB program for engineers could be at IIT Kharagpur School of Law. You must explore Delhi University’s 3-year LLB & that of Jindal Global Law School before considering GLC Mumbai or ILS Pune as other good options.
