We are constructing a wall against a wall which was build long back (i.e., 30 to 40 years) beside our open place. Now we are trying to construct a wall against wall without disturbing their wall. Is it legal or illegal as the neighbour asking us to live 2 feet space beside his wall. As our place start exactly where his wall ends. After we have started constructing he send us a stay order, please advice what can be do.
