CAMPUS LIFE AT JINDAL. REPLY URGENTLY :)
I got into Jindal with a 97.45 percentile. I’ve also been accepted to Symbi, Pune. i’ve almost made up my mind about where i wish to go. However, i have a few doubts about the campus life.
Are students allowed to take delhi trips, say to attend a concert or meet friends? if yes, with what preconditions? (permissions etc.) If not, is sneaking out an option?
What about the activities on campus? Does it get banal and boring after a while and do you wish you’d been studying in a more happening place?
I ask these questions not because i have no intention of studying and every intention of partying ( NOT A RICH BRAT). I only want to know what my chances of a little fun are should i have the time for it.
Would love to hear from a current student.

No, they won’t allow you to leave campus without permission. Permission has to be reasonable, too. Sneaking out could invite a lot of trouble, which is not worth it IMO.
And no, don’t get here if you plan to party and not study(read replies of Jindal-ites on other threads on this subject).

Who said directed you to have a ‘reasonable’ reason for permission to leave campus?
The warden just makes sure your parents are aware that you are leaving campus.
Also if your idea of party is smoking/smoking up/drinking all the time, then yeah you cannot do that on campus!
So your reasoning is complete arbitrary. The various student bodies keep organizing events on campus. We have had so many over achievers on campus, which tend to encourage you to work hard. I have not regretted a single day, as to why I joined JGLS.
And not being a rich brat doesn’t undermine you or stop you from making the most out of college. Noone said you have to be rich to survive law school. Whole purpose of quality education is so that you can earn and save more!
Talk to students in JGLS, preferably those who have completed at least 2 years.
