I have had fellow classmates, who, during the 5 year course have taken up and cleared the CA examinations. However, these people did not have the kind of college schedules and work loads that the National Law Schools have. If you are indeed from a National Law School, it will be very difficult to do both law and CA at the same time.

Your second query was regarding CS, i have done my CS and to be honest it is not as difficult as people portray it to be. i had managed to clear all the levels without much difficulty. Also the CS degree really helps which applying to firms which deal with general corporate litigation. If that is where you want to end up, i suggest you take up CS asap. also, i suggest you enroll yourself after your third year is complete so that you can avoid giving the first level (foundation) start from executive, you seem smart enough to clear it off easily.

CS is said to be a good combination with law as mainly the focus in CS Course is on laws. There are practical papers to be cleared but major portion of the course covers various laws. But I have seen CA degree holders pursue law for further studies when the CA Course belongs to finance courses. I am curious to know all those reasons which make Chartered Accountants to go for law. May be you can provide a few of them.
