[center]It is with great pleasure that Daksh announces the Second Legislation Drafting Competition, 2014.

The success of last years’ competition prompted us to look toward making this Competition an

annual event. The participants last year, ranging from High School students to law undergraduates

showed us the vast potential of this generation to understand various aspects of the law.

The Competition involves submission of a draft legislation on the topics specified. This year, in

addition to submission of the draft legislation, we are introducing a second round to the

Competition. The top 5 (five) teams, based on scores, shall each appear before a panel consisting

of judges and the remaining 4 (four) teams, in a Parliamentary set-up to defend their draft Bill and

submit to questions. The team offering the best defense shall be awarded additional prize money,

to be announced at the Valedictory Ceremony.
