Jobs for fresher law graduates

Raghav Chopra 15 Sept 2014, 10:48

Hi,

I am a law graduate from Delhi University.I have just completed my L.L.B from Law Center 2 in 2014.I have not done any internships in the 3 years of my college life and now I need to seek advice from someone as to what I can do now. I started going under a Civil Lawyer for around one and a half months and din not find any work there because my senior had a very few cases with him and did not take up any new case and I was feeling as if I was not learning anything so I left that and now I need some guidance as to whether I should go for internship in some Law Firms or to join some other lawyer and go to the courts with him to understand the working of district courts.

It has been a week now since I have left my senior and I have no clue as to which option is better and what other kind of things one can do if he is in my position having not have had any internship experience.

It is getting a bit frustrating now because as of now due to lack of internship experience I am not sure about which field like Criminal,Civil or any other field I should go for.

It will be very helpful if someone can just guide me as to what I can do right now.

Yours Sincerely,

Raghav

Think why you chose to become a lawyer and act accordingly. Frankly speaking, you needed to intern when you were in college.. In the event you can’t think of a reason, change your profession. It ll be best for you.
