LLB after B.E.

i have just completed my BE in civil engineering and is very much interested in pursuing law, currently i am working in a construction company. is it a good idea to do law at this stage and will it help my career or do i have to cut ties with engineering to get a law career. i am majorly interested in corporate law.
kindly suggest what should i do , do llb or any other law course or leave the idea of doing law.

If you’re interested in corporate law, or law in general, go get your llb. But if you don’t wanna leave your field, I suggest you go for PGD (post graduate diploma) courses. They are usually a year long. And they give you exposure to law related to your chosen stream.
Doing llb now will kinda break your engineering background though. Unless you consider IP law. In that case your BE will serve as a support to your llb knowledge.
