Hi,

I have a family of 7members. 3 sisters (all married)and we are two brother with our parents. My grandfather died without leaving any will. My father is the only son and he has 4 sisters. After my grand father death, all his self earned property are now in my father name.

My father is now selling those without my consent and giving money to my younger brother. I have filed a partition suit. 3 dates are gone..4th date is due on November.

My lawyer is telling me now that as per the procedure in court, there will be settlement option that will be followed now. It will give both the parties a period of 60 days to settle.I want to know if this correct.

My parents on the other hand appeared on the 3rd date and replied that since it is my grandfather self earned property I dont have any right on that.

I want to know what is the option left with me now.
