Whether a married woman is required to change her hand signature after marriage in India?

Dear Colleagues,
In Maharashtra, a lady accepts change of her maiden name by her in laws under prevailing family custom.
The point is - whether a lady as above is also required to change her handwriting signature post-marriage which she used to affix everywhere in her pre-marriage time?
As per my knowledge - there is no law in India requiring to change handwriting signature after a lady marry. She can carry on and continue using her pre-marriage hadwriting signatures post marriage too.
If yes - please advice relevant provision of law in India.

There is no need of changing her hand signature after marriage.
Suppose the respected lady is an illiterate and puts her Thumb Impression as her signature, then how can she change her thumb impression.
However, there is no restriction for any one to change his/her signature. An illiterate when he becomes literate can change his signature with his Thumb Impression, and similarly an old literate man/woman when becomes infirm and is unable to sign due to infirmity, can change signature with Thumb Impression or if they have no thumb than with the impression of any part of the body.
I mean… my signature is like my fingerprint!!! It is my identification which I have been using ever since I could open a bank account and reached the age that I am supposed to sign stuff…
I just don’t see why I have to change my signature…
