Chances of getting into a reputed law firm

Hello friends…Currently m studying B.A LLB(1st Year) at Amity University. My current age is 21 years..I have successfully completed 10th with 73.25%;12th with 56% and B.A with 42%…The reason y I couldnt opt for 3 years Law is due to the shortage of marks and that’s why I have enrolled myself for the B.A LLB programme..Now my question is if I complete the law degree with a good percentage of marks in future;is there any chance of getting placed in a reputed Law Firm..??

sorry but amity law school[under amity university] is not a reputed college it is a below average college so getting a job will be going to be a very tough task for you even in a tier-3 law firm.
R U SURE ABOUT IT?..COZ I HAVE SEEN STUDENTS GETTING PLACEMENT IN REPUTED LAW FIRMS EVEN AFTER COMPLETING THEIR DEGREE FROM BINOVA BHABE UNIVERSITY,BIHAR
Ask yourself.. Why’d tier 1 firms recruit from colleges like Amity when there are plenty of students in top 5-6 NLU’s and a handful other universities which they frequent.. I’m not saying its Amity’s fault, but its the way things are..yes, there are always exceptions and then people with contacts..but it is most likely that tier 2 & 3 firms will recruit from the likes of Amity or Symbiosis or IP.

That’s what anyone would assume when you say “reputed law firm”..:p the first guy did too..you should’ve specified better..
:p I thought people will automatically assume that chances of getting into a tier 1 Law firm is nt possible for me in general as I already mentioned that m pursuing my degree from Amity University.
Okay..my bad..there’s no arguing with that..
No one knows what is going on in one’s mind but everyone knows that a person always wants best(in your case -Tier1 law firm) for his/her career so if you said that you want a job in reputed law firm its implied that you want a job in tier 1 law firm.Just accept that rather than arguing with a person who helped you by answering your question.
