National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi a premier institute of legal education in India is organising 1st NUSRL LEGAL AID FEST to be held from 2nd May 2015 to 3rd May 2015.

It is NUSRL’s Centre for Legal Aid Programme’s (CLAP) maiden event. The event is of one of its own kind in the country. The event purports to give all educational institutions, NGOs and other organisations that are doing work in the arena of legal aid an opportunity to interact, share their experience, adopt and learn each other’s practices.

The Two Day fest will include six flagship events:-

§ Symposium of Legal Aid

§ Client Counselling Competition

§ Socio-preneur (A competition to spread awareness and sell)

§ Student’s Legal Debate (for school students)

§ PIL Drafting

§ National Level Street Play Competition

The University will highly appreciate all the NGOs, Educational institutions and other organisations who come forward and join hands with us in order to fulfil the two fold component of legal aid i.e. action & awareness.
