Hi
a)Your grand father’s (father’s father) property, would have vested on your father after their demise either by succession or will.if it was vested in your father’s hand by will, then it will be his absolute property and he can deal with the property in any manner without taking your consent.
b) By law, you, your step mother and her children will be the legal heirs.
c)Depending on the nature of transaction by which your father came in to possession of the property , you could challenge such disposal. however you need to keep in mind that law of limitation will come in to play, if you challenge the disposal beyond a certain time line.
do call me or mail me in case of any queries.
Hello sir, Thank you for your reply.A little correction here, grandfather is my mother’s father.Any changes in the law. What is the time limit to challenge the sold property.
