wife propety can sell husband?

My father is alcoholic.So my mother is living with me.He is selling all our properties and we are not unable to stop him. and now the problem is he is coming to sell my mothers property also.He is telling my wife property i can sell. She got that property from her mother.Is it is really possible without her signature or any way to stop him legally… we cant face him directly.
please suggest a way…

Your father has no right to sell the property of your mother nor can he force your mother to sell her property.
Legally to prevent your father from forcing your mother, you need to educate your mother to do the following
a) Keep the original documents in a bank locker in safe custody(so that it is out of reach of your father) &
b) Ask your mother not to give any power of attorney to your father.
In addition to the above,
c) Also please counsel your father and take care of him so as to get him de-addicted . At the end of day, he is your father and he must be a good man and the devil should be the alcohol which is driving him crazy
