The facts are -

My family has owned about 30 acres of agricultural land for many decades now. A hill oversees this agricultural land where all the farmers live. So, the farmers have their families, cattle, farming tools, vegetation, etc. on the hill, while the agricultural land is accessed by walking down the hill.

My family farms on the land below but has also done extensive construction on the hill. Farmers usually define their own boundaries on the hill arbitrarily because the hill is huge and everyone kept expanding on the hill as need without encroaching on each other’s land. My family, in particular, has a significant size of land on the hill where we grow vegetation, have cattle, have some recreational things and a house.

However, we don’t have any paper that says we own this land on the hill. But, we do have complete paperwork and undisputed ownership for the agricultural land.

Now, it has come to our attention that the government might be overtaking this land on the hill and all the farmers are now worried. Between us, we think having possessed this land for so long gives us significant rights which cannot be discarded by governmental action.
