If at all there is one major drawback of being a law student (among others), in my view and observation it is: to try having a tender conversation with any one of your friends, not being a law student. For how to, read below:
-
If you try being passive you are perceived as not a good-conversationalist. (such a remark could shatter the lawyer in you!)
-
If you argue or simply raise an objection, chances are high that your entire profession would be branded as ARGUMENTATIVE and INCONSIDERATE.
-
If you try being a patient listener, you are perceived as non-analytical.
4.If you shower your knowledge on the ‘world around you’, YOU ARE A SHOW OFF!
- If you don’t share your glib wisdom with them you are just an ignorant fool and might even put you in “galat fasein” category.
I am certain, all you people out there have your experiences and frustrations to share.
All said and done, conversation with a law student is not just a conversation, but a debate.
