This however? I'd suggest you at least join a good private institute like Symbi, NMIMS, NIRMA or Jindal - if you then still wish, you can give CLAT once more.
I got through a T2 NLU on my first attempt as a GC student, but would have gotten a T1 if I hadn't burned out from the variety of exams across fields my parents forced me to give (IPMAT, BBA and so on) - I also have ADHD so it is hell to focus on a timed exam.
I planned to give CLAT again the next year, but COVID was the kabab me haddi, plus it didn't seem worth it to me to risk COVID to give CLAT again when I already had a decent NLU.
I did well enough for myself here, and I suggest you buckle up for the same. I've said all of this to give a perspective; yes top NLUs are prestigious, but it is not the end all be all.
when i was interning there me & an intern hacked there server through **** and accesed - OG drafts, accounts info, and their clients data, now tell me how to use these ethically.
Their company had very serious regulatory issues that even their CS heads had failed to notice.
My partner had a field day with them wrt non compliance. I am pretty sure the senior management must have cried that evening.
Its good btw that most of the caste are agitating to be categorised into OBC and they will be eventually. Apart from Brahmin everyone can be OBC and must be. So what you will see soon in coming 20-30 years is TN style OBV politics in India. Which is good , though SC dont really have a voice there.
Maybe Jitni Abaadi Utna Haq will be a silver lining in which all non brahmin can be categorised into OBC.
Only SC dont have ao called accrued privilege, and is given on account of oppression. Rest ST is area based, many brahmin and Rajputs come under ST.
OBC is meme category which will eventually lead us to lebanonization of india. Its good in a sense all these hindus chindus ekta ka natak kahtam hoga and we can the purely transact on caste basis.
No party can touch it thats why either take it to extreme that is demanded by landlord castes or subdivide by implementing classification on the basis of substantive justice and equality. Rohini commission in step in that direction.

I would suggest giving CAM CM Team a shot because they are always hiring. CAM Tag and lateral shifts you just cannot compare then.
You might be right with Rajani not being in the limelight on big ticket work these days but its not that they don't get work. Culture wise, Rajani beats CAM and anyways given how tier 1s bleed juniors in ECM teams, lateral hiring would anyways leave you with a tier 1 in 1/2 years if you start with Rajani.
CAM has seen partner level attrition so its a sticky place to be as a junior to be very honest; plus not every paralegal converts to the A0 level. Play your cards right and make your choice wisely.

Kolkata is a shitty market for law firms, you guys are always quick to jump onto conclusions.
Hiring almost always happen in - Mumbai, NCR Delhi Offices and Bangalore. Exactly in that order. So better intern in Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore.

Also, I had a great experience working with Mr. Ameet Datta, he notices and appreciates hard work. However, unfortunately, the tech advisory team is now headed by Ms. Suvarna Mandal. Mr. Datta plays more of a senior partner role.
Today they have some 300 students in LLM and sadly job prospects are as bad. Never do LLM with the sole aim of getting a job. You'll be disappointed.
But atleast there is no tar with vaping.
