If you were a student of NUJS you would have known that but clearly youβre not so stop making these random fake comments on a public forum
The statement went through a GB vote where nearly 400 students approved it
SLS Noida is a perfectly reputable school. Any college you go, youβll have to put in the hours, hard work, sincerity and honesty, and that doesnβt change for SLS Noida as well.
Previously, soon after NKC came in as the VC, he shut down the medals awarded by the SJA. The then SJA prez didn't even bother murmuring a protest. His successors voluntarily emaciated whatever was left of the SJA.
You will never understand the amt of effort required to get an internship.
Well as far as I can guess they are of no use now, to the concerned person.

Furthermore, L&L doesn't force its partners to pretend about "million dollar plus" transactions on camera unlike a certain firm.
Oh wait.. You will name all the has beens
WA Uni Uncle... Goebbels must be laughing from .........
But the SJA has been clearly hijacked or manipulated by a certain faction of the faculty. While it may have independently drafted the petition to the EC/CJI but the proverbial slip is clearly showing. The allegation is yet to be proved and the HC direction doesn't really concern the EC, which has been aware of the facts all along (irrespective of the fact whether it formally discussed those).
NKC hasn't exactly done wonders to NUJS but the powers that be are okay with his middling performance and want him around. Those powerful interests need to be shown that NKC is detrimental to their not-so-visible interests. And for that SJA really needs to rediscover its old self and steer clear for vested faculty and admin interests. This associate professor can fight her own battles.
There is still time. Wise up. Be clinical.
2. As somebody who studies in Britain at an RG uni, I am telling you this from observation. You should be aware that they tend (even if they don't say so) to look down on even the best NLUs as not being strict enough, in some senses. This is because those NLUs allow for students who fail/do badly in a law course exam to repeat it and still achieve within the full spectrum of grades. The Brits, on the other hand, do things very differently. If people fail module examinations here, they are made to resit the exam, but at most unis (particularly the Russell Group ones), the academic regulations are designed in such a way that the marks of students are 'capped' at the minimum passing grade (40% at the undergraduate level) if they fail an exam without extenuating circumstances; this means that, even if they achieve the highest mark on the resit exam, the mark noted on their transcripts will be 40%. (Of course, this doesn't take into account the situations where there are valid extenuating circumstances, like illness.) For people complaining about "academic rigour" and using UK law schools as a justification, this may be something worth thinking about. If I were somebody like Sudhir, the NLSIU VC, in order to make my institution's degrees even more highly perceived than they already are overseas, I'd tweak my own AER similarly to match the UK standard.
The practice focus and clients are very different in the infra field across firms.
So see what kind of work the team does (regulatory/government procurement/pure projects for pvt clients/m&a) and the clients before making a decision.
I actually agree more with the previous ranking.

Yeah the phd is going on about 8 years- I know many people that have been doing that - thereβs been a global pandemic in between those eight years, itβs an unfunded position so heβs had to work full time, teaching 2-3 courses a term at least not to mention all the admin work they put on him at nalsar. And heβs gotten married and had a kid. Raising a child is hard work.
Weakened his own case means what ? All his work ex doesnβt disappear no ? Heβll finish phd this year and knock out 2-3 pubs from that and get promoted to associate professor. Given the easier schedule at nls he has the breathing room to do that.
Someone doing their masters/phd immediately out of law school hasnβt had to deal with all that he has. So I would suggest that law school kids who donβt know what any of that is about and who are barely passing their own courses keep their nonsense to themselves.
A t1 job in law is extremely luck based even for top nlus (alot of factors at play: grades, mood of firms, for PPO your timing of joining may coincide with an a0 leaving etc etc).
Do not bank on the thought that if you do everything right you'll get placed. Many less deserving get ppos and avid mooters and toppers are left at the mercy of day zeros to take a team they don't want in a location they don't prefer.
If you can repay the loan even with a t2 t3 job then go ahead (or if dad can help in case you are unable ) But if you're someone who is purely depending on a t1 job for repayment. Then it's not worth it. From any college.
Recently, on holidays especially Iβm unable to write a line straight without getting distracted. Iβm sitting on a draft for weeks now, I just lay down and keep scrolling X. I have stopped my workouts which I earlier used to be regular with. Iβm constantly agitated.
Fearing but have I hit the burnout stage? I tried taking a long weekend off but I did not feel energised and recouped.
