We want LI to be one of the friendliest places on the internet, where lawyers and law students help each other with their career related queries and occasionally discuss other stuff that might affect their lives too. In other words:
1. Be kind, respectful and helpful to each other.
2. Be bona fide, truthful, genuine and curious.
3. Assume the best intention of others.
Therefore, in using the site, you must agree to do your best to uphold these community guidelines.
Note that what you find here is written and moderated by anonymous people on the internet.
Therefore everything you read here is very likely unverified, rumour, speculation and/or downright false.
In continuing to read anything here, you must therefore agree not to take anything you read here as factual and that you will exercise due caution, diligence and common sense before acting on any information you may come across here.

I just finished my Call-Back at Trilegal and have gotten a pretty solid affirmation from my entire team including the partner regarding my PPO. How long does Trilegal's HR take to schedule PPO interviews?
Kindy suggest me some firms to apply?
THANK ME LATER
What happened has happened. Either Indians can still bitch and moan about colonialism, or we can take a leaf from Japan, a country that was literally nuked by the United States, but still stuck to the path of nation building rather than blaming all of their problems on historical incidents.
or have a listen to this BBC podcast https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/brand/m001wr57
Stop with the hate and start working.
Would also recommend everyone to watch this clip of the President of Guayana schooling this clown.

If you post such remarks on LI, you get downvoted by woke socialist students who have no clue about money. Now the SC has said the same thing!
Is cap marks really that bad?
They are regularly trying to improve with works floating towards AI and Law and all.
Just being a student is entailing with Legal Research positions at PHC, Excise Dept, Education Dept and Dept of Revenue. Results of Judiciary excluded.
If I have to Judge - I would say the place is not being able to host best of the best crowd well as could have been done at other NLUs but to median and down to that. It does well.
Please donβt waste your money on these βΉ30-50 lakh programs just because you can (even with a loan). That would be a poor decision! Only consider institutions like SLS or JGLS if:
a) They offer you a substantial scholarship, and
b) Youβve managed to secure a top-seven NLU test score.
Know thisβthese institutions are in the business of selling education. There is little regulatory or independent oversight on the criteria they use to select candidates. Do not pursue law simply because you managed to get into such colleges; that alone is not reason enough.
India already has more lawyers than it needs. Joblessness is at an all-time high, and competition is fiercer than ever.
Itβs high time the government and BCI shut down mediocre and underperforming law schools instead of opening new ones.
