I am inundated with requests for internships and associateship from the judiciary (Supreme Court & High Court judges), Investigative Agencies (Commissioner of Police and the like), Industrialists, Senior Counsels, etc. Your average babu is way down on the priority list.

Competition, regulatory and corporate/m&A generates much higher revenues compared to certain other practice areas such as banking or IPR. Hence the disparity in salaries in general. Cannot compare salaries between different practice areas whether JSA or any other law firm.

Being the Former Vice Chancellor of NLSIU Bangalore and current Vice Chancellor of IIULER Goa, why Prof. (Dr.) R. Venkata Rao is not responding anything to this? He was in the CLAT Consortium for so many long years as he was the VC of NLSIU Bangalore for two consecutive terms and prior to that, VC for CNLU Patna for one term! He knows the system very well. Why is keeping quiet in this matter? He too knows this inclusion of IIULER is definitely to decieve the CLAT Aspirants and Law Students. This, not only Consortium but also the authorities of IIULER including the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Rao should adress this issue

If IIULER is admitted, why Consortium in their Press Release does not state that it's not a National Law University (NLU)! Why they have not said that it's a Private University! This is the reason why so many Coaching Institutions, YouTube Channels and Websites are showing as "New NLU at Goa" is added to the Consortium of NLUs! This is deceiving everyone including the 75,000+ registered CLAT Aspirants

I congratulate for the decision you have taken! Else, you may suffer now. Even the Ph.D. programme at IIULER is not following the stipulated UGC Ph.D. Regulations of 2022 which now become a greater matter of concern after enrolled PhD Scholars discontinued from IIULER. Many of them visited office or UGC, Ministry of Education and Department of Higher Education (DOHE) with respect to the irregularities of PhD at IIULER. Even JRF Holders did not get stipend till date and they too are not accepted as Full-Time Scholars! (There is no use even if they accept as Full-Time Scholars because IIULER has no Remote Database or Online Library Access and the Physical Library is too small which is even smaller than those of tier two private affiliated colleges!)

If you are able to comment this, are you yourself including in the said community of "unemployed" people? We are raising a crucial illegality that Consortium of NLUs are doing. You can either support or dissent. If you are dissenting, please present substantiate evidences and sufficient proofs to corroborate your dissent. Speaking something which is not related to the topic is really what "unemployed" does like what you are doing now!

I'm guessing the moderator doesn't live in Delhi and has no clue of the ground reality --- while millions of middle-class income taxpayers like us breathe in poison (as do the poor), we have multi-crorepati farmers, driving expensive cars and paying no income tax, are rampantly burning stubble.

- Are the inner circle NLUs those which have tier 1 status? Like a prestigious Ivy League/Russell Group set of colleges?

- What if an outer circle NLU improves with time and deserves tier 1 status? Will the logo be changed to include it in the inner circle? The obvious candidate for this is MNLU Mumbai, in another 10-15 years.

- Conversely, what about NLUs like HNLU and NLIU, which are regressing with time? Certainly many would debate if HNLU deserves tier 1 status.

I applied for a Trainee Associate position and received an interview invite directly from the managing partner, who is also an Additional Advocate General (AAG). As soon as I sat down, she asked if I was a fresher. I confirmed that I graduated in July 2024, and she immediately said that she wasn’t looking for fresh graduates—she was looking for someone with experience.

She then asked what position I had applied for, and I clarified that I had applied for the Trainee Associate position, and she's the one who confirmed for the interview as I directly mailed her. Despite that, she acted as if I had sent the wrong application, stating that she wasn’t interested in hiring someone with no experience.

She then told me that she wouldn't be paying a fresher and that I would have to "earn it"—which I agreed with. Later, when I asked when I could join, she said it was up to me—Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday—as if it was some kind of favor she was offering, with no real interest in the conversation.

Now, I’m left wondering—should I even consider joining this place? I’m running out of options, and this is my fourth interview. Every other interview I’ve had has led to ghosting, so at least this time, I’ve gotten some kind of feedback, even if it doesn’t feel all that promising.
