Another thing seems that you give live in a parallel universe where no inflation exists. + even colleges which charge hardly 2L are paraded as super exclusionary and as epitome of elitism. With the way the ₹ has gone down 2L is just a normal amount in the current times. What do you want next? Colleges to teach you for ₹500/yearly and if they hike that by 100 you will start crying?
Plus if you don’t like it there are law colleges in every city where the fees are 5k per year.
1. Unaffordable and elitist, or
2. Value for money / Worth every rupee, or
3. Milking the desperate / Setting a debt trap, or
4. Inexpensive, with scope for further hikes
One thing that bugs the hell out of me are calls from my seniors after 9.30pm for not really urgent stuff. Things they forgot to assign during the day.
My previous senior from a Lower Parel firm had this habit of calling me at 9.30pm or later and assigning fresh work or staff me on new matters. In addition she would give me a morning deadline for a deliverable. I would end up pulling an unplanned unexpected all nighter with very groggy times.
Then there was my boss, they would love to email me on Saturday evening for urgent work. Needless to say I didn't stay there much longer.
Does this happen to you? How did or do you deal with it? Personally, I dont tolerate this anymore, i ignore all messages and emails after 10pm.

As you can see from the video, she didn't really say anything, beyond nodding and agreeing with what Sibal was saying, but it still came as a big surprise. Of course a lawyer has the freedom to represent whoever he/she wants, but don't you normally see human rights lawyers representing victims rather than the state? That's why I found it surprising. Has Indira Jaising ever appeared for the state in a human rights violation case, other than when she served as ASG? Have Colin Gonsalves, Prashant Bhushan and Vrinda Grover ever down so? Please correct my ignorance if I am wrong.

Once you go theough the placement process, regardless of it being a ppo, you will find out that dealing with the recruitment committee is the singularly most degrading and humiliating experience in life.
Soln: be likeable and get elected to the RCC. Not very difficult since 10 people are usually in it.
Also, pro tip: whatever your situation, if you don't want to really face problems in life, you seriously want to think about including GNLU in that list. Ganloo trolls have an unerring 'spotter' for threads that do not humbly acknowledge that they are a T1.

So I started my career at a law firm, wherein, I have put in about 2.6 years worth of work. My experience lies in the fields of GC and TMT, however, I had a rude boss and moreover he was downright abusive. I completely lost my mind at the end of 2.6 years and thereafter called it quits. I, nevertheless, liked practice and I'm looking for better places to work at. Whilst my time apart, I have come to the realization that, the abuse was not justified at all. ( Well, it never really is.) Do you think, in your opinion (contributors opinion), that I may do something about this? May I file a formal complaint against the respective person with the BCI, under the grounds of moral turpitude (mental harassment... etc), or it just simply isn't worth the hassle and that moving on and hoping for better pastures - is my only option?
