I agree with you, the lower the level the high is the corruption, I know a lot such engineers and PWD ones. IAS officers are more targeted by politicians and when coming to IPS, I've seen both the kids of an IPS ANS IFS leading an average life no hi-fi perks compared to buisness lads. I don't understand this obsession with "top-tier" firms. It's a job—nothing more, nothing less. Living in Mumbai is a struggle, from day 1 - finding apartments, being on a budget, and managing work (internship) and college expectations together will be very stressful and challenging.

While Pune is a much student friendly city, ILS has a decent campus, and it is as reputed an institute as GLC (if not more). ILS is surrounded by colleges like FTII, Gokhale, Symbi, Fergusson and Pune University. It offers a student-friendly atmosphere and lets you interact with a diverse crowd. It may allow you time to pursue your hobbies, hit the gym or play sports. Things like these are difficult to manage in Mumbai (especially as a student).

Pune may not have much to offer from a legal professional's perspective, but it hosts good tax lawyers, original side litigators (if you are well versed in Marathi), and a few law firms also have their offices in Pune. There are a few tax firms as well. Lectures at ILS mostly get over by 11:00 am, which allows students to intern on the side.

You will find a job sooner or later, but you will never get your college life back!

I am a student in BML Munjal right now and I am not very satisfied with the university. First I thought it was me and then I saw another thread here about Munjal being bad. The biggest problem is peer group is not that great and infrastructure is in fact very poor specially hostel. The faculty is very great probably the best in any private law school after Jindal and few others. Right now I will be paying almost 30l without scholarship which I can get from second year onwards. The batch is just 50 students and even in that peer group is not really good.

I might get some scholarship in Bennett as they are still offering. Is it a good college? Other option is Amity and Lyod although I don’t know if they are still offering some scholarship.
