Well paid ‘lawyers’ though :)
He definitely got the say in management (pretty much everything that he wanted and wanted Indus to do was done I hear). But, the "build" part was not happening since the Practice was slanted towards the underwriters based on the deal reporting. Clearly, going back to a big Brand, cuts out the hassle of the "hustle" and things will come much easier. Does that make this an execution role more than a "builder" role? Only time will tell- with the markets being on the roll that they are (and seem to be), the Cap Markets teams are losing their "cyclical" stigma. Cyril also does to kill competition by taking out a competitor in a pretty much monopolistic game. Win-Win immediate term. But, then lateral integration is a huge problem across all firms, leave alone Big Law. and bigger the team, bigger the problem.
Building a Tier 1 practice (this is not about quality, but about a niche practice area)+ jacking up the profile of a Tier 2 Firm, while coming from a Tier 1 Firm is hard. Tier 1 spoils you and kills your hunger for a hustle in niche practices after you have established yourself. The Brand itself draws a lot of the work. And yeah, I do know about this having been there and done that.
So, eventually that's what it is, isn't it? Giving up on "building" and ruling the roost to boost profile/make more money. Who are we to judge? But, sure as hell, we can comment and have opinion, no?
Yash Ashar doesn't stand a chance in front of Manan Lahoty. I don't think Manan will agree to be a Co head of any ECM team.
2. How different is the pay structure? How much would have Manan Lahoty made by this jump?
3. How will CAM benefit from this deal as ECM is a low margin practice area?

I know two unis personally that have pushed day Zero to December and January.
Is the job market really that bad?
Also, how does the interview process look like? I’ve had prior history of working in private equity transactions team at T1 law firms. Would anyone be able to guide as to the kind of experience / work profile the firms usually look out for? Thank you so much!
The easiest way to start your credit card journey is to open an FD with your bank. They will immediately offer a credit card based on that FD. Use this to build your credit score over a year or so. As soon as your credit score hits around the 700 mark, you should be eligible for a number of other credit cards.
Don’t know why he takes shitHope he understands his potential..
Everyday wear - RL Polo Black and Chanel Bleu
For special occasions - Azzaro Most Wanted
Parties and Nightclubs - JPG Ultra Male Intense
I also use a Versace Eros Flame when I'm travelling. Very versatile.
Prices will vary across platforms, but they're generally slightly cheaper at duty free. And beware of fakes!
As for tier 1 status, it’s largely on paper. NLIU has declined a lot over the past decade, because of corrupt/incompetent admin and political neglect. The opening of DNLU Jabalpur was a terrible blow, because funds that could have been used for NLIU were diverted there.
(1) Yes, in terms of brand value, nliu has lost glory to some extent but still it is one of the oldest law school established in the year 1997 and is a stable tier 1.
(2) The alumini base of nliu is marvelous. You will find n number of partners in every tier 1 firm which gives it a edge in terms of placements, internship and other opportunities (ps- I have personally witnessed it)
(3) NLIU has a decent academic culture, not very hectic, not very chill, thereby giving you time to participate in moots, write paper, internships, courses etc.
(4) Now, if you are an average student, having some sense of seriousness- doing pretty much of the above mentioned things along with studies then definitely NLIU will give you excellent internships opportunities in your 3rd and 4th year.
(5) If you work well in internships, you'll receive a ppo otherwise day zero will help you in placements. Even if you fail to crack day zero, then also you have rolling placements throughout the year, so a total of around 45-50 students gets placed.
(6) Now people who will troll on these numbers- let me just put it straightforward- if you just want job without doing anything, with just spending your time with cigarette and girls, without participating in any extra-curricular activities, without studying at least on an average basis then even NLS can't give you a job.
BUT do note that there is no culture of placements in foreign law firms. Domestic placements are very good.
AN AVERAGE STUDENT WHO STRIVE FOR HARDWORK WILL DEFINITELY LAND UP IN TIER 1 FIRM FROM NLIU
But if you just want job because you are in tier 1 nlu, then sorry boss, you can come here on LI and troll my message but the reality is what i have mentioned above.
So, conclusion is- if you are ready to give your best in initial 4 years, then at the end of 5 year, you will be DEFINITELY at par with NLS, NALSAR, NUJS peeps.
I AM NOT A PR AGENT OF NLIU. I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING FROM NLIU. JUST SHARING 100 % Honest Opinion.
1. What is the ground reality of 3 year LLB as compare to the og 5 year BALLB?
2. Do we as 3 year LLB can study and works on different projects with 5 year LLB guys or the 5 year BALLB folks have built their own thesis around 3 year ones.
3. What about placements, networking opportunities. Can we get into different communities with 5 year ones?
Please answer in a pros and cons manner (Thanks og if you replied).
Embarrassing the lengths people go to diss NLS

In fact, she narrowly missed the silver in the mixed event and she single-handedly carried the team because Sarabjot was average. We could have won a gold had she got a better partner. And she could still win another medal as she has an event left!
How awesome is this girl !!!
Talent aside, what I also like about her is that she has no trace of arrogance when she speaks. She is from a village in Haryana and worked hard to get where she is. We blindly stan Bollywood nepo kids and influencers, but it is people like her who should be a role model. Talent aside, her natural beauty and smile is a million times better than these fake plastic people! 🤣🤣🤣
What has CAM offered them. More than Indus pays? How can CAM afford what Indus cannot?

This is why NFSU broadly, and NFSU Law School specifically is at the core of this ecosystem. This is why NFSU has been given a government grant of ₹2254 crores a month back to conceive, design, and operate this ecosystem.
