This firm appears to have handled more M&A transactions happening within itself than those undertaken by its existing / prospective clients!

Kochhar is a successful builder and businessman, masquerading as a jet-setting corporate lawyer...coz, it looks cool. It is because of his construction company and recruitment business, that he has the means to indulge the idea of running that law-firm! Can't run a successful practice by buying lawyers, Rohit. You are a smart guy and can probably beat the competition with your intellect. Use it on one thing and do it well! Nay sayers ? Anyone?

Dear Roko, in case you are not aware - all leading managing partners of firms including the Shroffs, Zia, Ajay Bahl, Jyoti Sagar, Rajiv Luthra - have real estate companies to themselves. A simple Google search will tell u that. Indian firm partners have always invested in real estate companies which contribute to their personal income. How much they get from their real estate business and investments is anyone's guess. So why single out poor Rohit Kocchar? He is a small fry....

You are wrong. Only Zia's husband is a builder. The names you mentioned may have invested in property or stock of leading property development companies; but that doesn't make them builders. That also, isn't what the previous comment intended to convey.
