Chandhiok & Associates has rebranded to Chandhiok & Mahajan and has also promoted associates to partners, after first starting four years ago as a sole proprietorship.

“The board of Tata Chemicals Ltd has approved the sale of its non-bulk phosphatic business to IRC Agrochemicals for Rs 375 crore,” reported Mint.

“The Competition Commission has dismissed allegations of unfair business practices against the producers of Vidya Balan-starrer Kahaani 2 movie, which was released last year. K Sera Sera Digital Cinema had moved the regulator after the film’s producers — Pen India and Boundscript Motion Pictures — refused to provide the movie to it for exhibition. Among others, it was alleged that the movie was given only to UFO Moviez India and Real Image Media Technologies,” reported PTI.

Car maker Hyundai was fined Rs 87 crore by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) for anti-competitive discounting of its cars in a complaint made by two informants and Hyundai dealers - Fx Enterprise Solutions and St Antony’s Cars.
