Former Economic Laws Practice (ELP) partner and practice head Jyoti Pawar, who went independent last year, has joined Infosys to succeed Gopi Krishnan as deputy general counsel.

Former Infosys deputy general counsel (GC) and NLSIU Bangalore 1999 alumnus Gopi Krishnan, who had been acting as Infosys’ global GC since January 2017, joined WNS Global Services as group GC in June.

Wipro general counsel Inderpreet Sawhney joined Infosys as its chief compliance officer and general counsel to replace David Kennedy who was removed by Infosys in December 2016, as first reported by VCCircle and reported by Mint and others.
