CLAT convenor and DNLU Jabalpur VC Prof Balraj Chauhan shares some of his and the committee’s current deliberations surrounding potentially taking the admissions test online this year

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLU) has extended the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) date to 24 May 2020, with the application deadline extended to 25 April 2020.

NLU Jabalpur vice chancellor (VC) Prof Balraj Chauhan has been occupying the hostel room of a student of the law school who committed suicide on 9 September possibly under stress about his weak command over English, as first reported Times of India.

RMLNLU Lucknow vice chancellor (VC) Balraj Chauhan will finish his five-year tenure as VC at the university on 2 January. The university has formed a search committee to appoint the new VC, and has invited applications for the post latest by Monday.
